- Angelus leather dye
This is a professional dye, not a polish. It penetrates and it does not come off, which is exactly what you want on a restoration and exactly what you do not want on a mistake.
If you have not dyed leather before, bring the pair to a counter and let us do it — the same product, and no ruined shoes.
Strip the finish first. Thin coats, dry between each. Seal with an acrylic finisher.
Goes with it
Angelus shoe cream
Pigment and nourishment together. Restores colour to scuffed leather and keeps it supple. Use this before you reach for wax.
Angelus wax shoe polish
A hard wax that builds a real shine and takes a mirror finish on toe caps. Shine, not nourishment — pair it with a cream.
Horsehair polishing brush
A proper 200mm horsehair brush with a beech body. Buy one, keep it thirty years.
Cedar shoe trees
Unfinished red cedar, split toe, twin tube. The single most useful thing you can buy for a good pair of shoes.
